A History of Breakthrough Business Thinking
Named after an acclaimed business book by Jeffrey Shuman, Ph.D., The Rhythm
of Business, Inc. was co-founded in 1999 by Shuman, a 30-year
veteran entrepreneur, strategic consultant, and business educator, and Janice Twombly, CPA, an
expert on business performance measurement and formerly partner in a leading Boston accounting firm. Since then, based on their practice and research, Shuman and Twombly have
co-authored numerous books, articles, and white papers and regularly speak at a variety of venues around the world. Their methodologies inform Shuman's popular MBA courses at Bentley College where he is a professor of management and director of entrepreneurial studies.
Through its consulting, research, and teaching, The Rhythm of Business continues to deliver on its commitment to provide organizations and executives with the mindset, skillset, and toolset for successful collaborative business in today's interdependent, global economy.
