Bentley College

Entrepreneurial Studies and Relationship Business
Bentley College in Waltham, MA, is America's first business university. Our company's founder, Jeff Shuman, is professor of management at Bentley College and founder and director of Bentley's entrepreneurial studies program, ranked 16th nationally in 2003 by U.S. News & World Report. The program offers courses and business support to both undergraduate and graduate students, plus alumni. The discipline of relationship business is an integral component of Bentley's entrepreneurial studies program.

The program has received numerous honors, awards, and grants to support its curriculum and research, including The Leavey Award from the Freedoms Foundation of Valley Forge and grants from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and the Coleman Foundation. And in 1999, Jeff Shuman received an Ernst & Young New England Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

For educators interested in developing courses in relationship business or entrepreneurial thinking, we have undergraduate and graduate course materials available, including course syllabi, presentation materials, and case studies.
