Entrepreneurial Studies and Relationship Business
Bentley College in Waltham, MA, is America's first business university.
Our company's founder, Jeff Shuman, is professor of management at
Bentley College and founder and director of Bentley's entrepreneurial
studies program, ranked 16th nationally in 2003 by U.S. News & World
Report. The program offers courses and business support to both undergraduate
and graduate students, plus alumni. The discipline of relationship business
is an integral component of Bentley's entrepreneurial studies program.
The program has received numerous honors, awards, and grants to support
its curriculum and research, including The Leavey Award from the Freedoms
Foundation of Valley Forge and grants from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation
and the Coleman Foundation. And in 1999, Jeff Shuman received an Ernst
& Young New England Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
